Outlook for Mac brings the familiarity of the Office suite to Mac users, however unlike its PC counterpart, it does not natively support Google app syncing. This can be incredibly frustrating for Mac and Outlook users who use Google's web-based calendar service. However, there is a workaround using Apple's Calendars app, which can move your Google calendars to Outlook for Mac.
Link Google Calendars to Apple Calendars
2.Click on the 'Calendar' menu and choose 'Preferences.'
3.Select the 'Accounts' tab and press the '+' symbol to add a new account.
4.Choose 'Google' from the 'Account Type' drop-down menu. Type in your Google email address and password.
5.Click 'Create.' Verify your account details and click on 'Create' again.
6.Check your calendar to make sure that your Google calendar events have populated within the Apple Calendar window.

Select the 'Outlook' program menu and click on 'Preferences.'
3.Choose 'Sync Services' and check mark 'Calendars' then select 'On My Computer.'
Move Your Google Events to the Shared Calendar
1.Launch Apple Calendar and uncheck all of your calendars except for your Google Calendar.
2.Click on 'Edit' and 'Select All.' Next, click on 'Copy.'
3.Uncheck your Google Calendar and look for a 'No Category' calendar in the 'On My Mac' calendar list.
4.Check 'No Category' and click on 'Edit' and then 'Paste.' This will move your Google Calendar Events to the calendar shared by Outlook and Apple Calendars.
Warnings
- Run Microsoft updates for your Office suite before attempting to link Apple Calendars with Outlook. Microsoft has released updates to address issues with Sync Services on the Mac.
- After adding new events within Outlook, you will need to manually transfer them from the shared calendar to your Google calendar within the Apple Calendar app.
- *Information as of 2013.
